Graduate Student Heath Pennington Receives Fellowship for Dissertation Research

We are thrilled to announce that earlier this month, Heath Pennington (they/them/their), PhD candidate and Chancellor’s Fellow, within our department, was awarded the Albert and Elaine Borchard Foundation European Studies Fellowship for Dissertation Research. The Fellowship supports innovative scholarship in both traditional humanistic disciplines and in the field of European Studies by supporting advanced graduate students whose dissertation projects require research and study in Europe, and by facilitating international exchanges with European institutions of higher learning. Since 2010, more than sixty graduate students across multiple departments in the Division of Humanities and Fine Arts have received these prestigious awards.
