The Department of Theater and Dance is very excited to share a week of dramaturgical programming leading up to the staged reading of Luis Valdez’s Zoot Suit in the UCSB Studio Theater on Saturday, May 17th at 2pm and 7:30pm. There will be a reception and Q&A following the 2pm performance.

All events are open to the public! This week was curated by student org Zoot Suit at UCSB, in collaboration with UCSB’s resource center El Centro. We host series like these to engage with theater and Latino/a/x work in new ways. We will have food and materials at all events, which have been graciously funded by the IV Community Resource Center.
