The LAUNCH PAD Summer Reading Series invites professional playwrights to join the UC Santa Barbara community as artists-in-residence as the main component of a summer theater course. In three fast-paced four-day workshops, students learn the vital and specialized skills of working on plays in the earliest stages of their development. At the end of each week, a reading of the play is shared with its very audience.
