The Department of Theater and Dance invites applications for temporary teaching positions on an ongoing basis. Temporary appointment positions are variable in terms of percentage of time with the possibility of reappointment that is dependent upon performance and departmental needs. The department is currently recruiting for the 2018-19 academic year, including summer. Applicant must possess an MFA degree or 5 years equivalent professional experience. College or University teaching experience is desired. At least five years teaching experience in applicable specialty (dance technique, music for dance, embodied anatomy, choreography/improvisation) is preferred. The Department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service. Salary is based on UC’s salary scales and depends on qualifications.
