Submissions due February 1 st, 2008 by 5pm.

Submissions must meet the following criteria:

Dramatic scripts must be 45 pages or less in length. Submissions for SOLO or GROUP performance pieces should include A LETTER OUTLINING THE AIMS OF YOUR PIECE AS WELL A DETAILED performance proposal with a running time of no longer than 45 minutes.

All submissions must be bound or stapled. ONLY ONE SUBMISSION PER AUTHOR.

All submissions must be in standard PLAYWRITING format, and include a title page with author contact information, and indication of author’s home department.

3 paper copies of the submission must be submitted to UNDERGRADUATE ADVISOR in the Department of Theater and Dance, Bldg. 223, Room 2526 by February 1st, 2008 at 5:00 P.M. (NO LATE SUBMISSIONS ACCEPTED).

1 electronic copy must be included in the submission. This e-mailed copy must be in one of the following formats: .PDF, .txt, .rtf, .doc. Any other format will not be accepted.

The subject of your e-mail SHOULD read: UCSB New Plays Festival. Any submission without that subject heading will NOT BE ACCEPTED.
