Job Opportunities Faculty position FACULTY SCENIC DESIGNER. University of California Santa Barbara , Department of Theater and Dance invites applications to a one-year full-time Lecturer beginning July 1, 2009. Responsibilities include teaching courses in scenic design and design/technical support; design or supervise student designers in scenic design for three drama productions and two dance concerts. MFA in Theatrical Design with emphasis in Scenic Design or equivalent professional experience required. University teaching experience preferred. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service.
