Job Opportunities Faculty position ASSISTANT PROFESSOR. Department of Theater and Dance at UC Santa Barbara seeks an assistant professor in acting and directing. We seek an innovative and accomplished actor, teacher of acting and/or directing who can contribute to the department’s programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; assume major responsibilities in a nationally recognized BFA acting program; sustain a program of creative work and/or research; and thrive in the interdisciplinary environment that characterizes UCSB. The university is particularly i nterested in candidates who enhance the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching and service. MFA, PhD, or professional equivalent required.
