Professor Suk-Young Kim Wins the 2013 James Palais Prize From the Association for Asian Studies

The Department of Theater and Dance is enlighted to congratulate Professor Suk-Young Kim who just won the 2013 James Palais Prize from the Association for Asian Studies for her book Illusive Utopia: Theater, Film, and Everyday Performance in North Korea. This is the most significant recognition for people working in Korean Studies and the prize comes from the largest organization of its kind with some 8000 members around the world.
